    Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hello and welcome to my profile.  Thank you for taking time to learn a bit more about me, my experience and approaches.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, my goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

Life can be challenging at any age. Children and teens may struggle with anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, school stress, peer relationships, or family conflict. Adults often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting stress, grief, trauma, or simply the weight of trying to hold everything together. Families may find themselves feeling disconnected, caught in repeated patterns of conflict, or unsure of how to best support one another. No matter what brings you to therapy, we will work together to better understand what is happening beneath the surface and develop practical tools that promote healing, resilience, and lasting change.

One of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship between therapist and client. I strive to create an environment where you can be yourself without fear of judgment or pressure. Whether you need a space to process difficult emotions, explore past experiences, learn new coping skills, or simply feel understood, I want therapy to be a place where you feel safe, respected, and accepted. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while working toward meaningful and lasting growth.

I use an eclectic, evidence-based approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals. Because every person and every family is different, treatment may incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on what is most helpful for you. My work is always grounded in a trauma-informed perspective and is collaborative, compassionate, and practical.

I have completed additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and Adoption Competency. Before entering private practice, I spent more than fifteen years working within the child welfare system, residential treatment programs, and community based therapeutic foster care settings. These experiences have given me extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate trauma, grief and loss, attachment concerns, behavioral challenges, life transitions, and complex family dynamics.

If you’re reading this and feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or wondering whether therapy is the right step, you’re not alone. Many people come to therapy after spending months—or even years—trying to manage life’s challenges on their own. Reaching out for support isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a courageous investment in yourself and the people you care about.

My hope is that from our very first conversation, you’ll feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. Whether you’re seeking support as an individual, navigating a difficult season with your family, helping your child through a challenging time, or simply looking for a place where you don’t have to carry everything alone, I would be honored to walk alongside you. When you’re ready, I’d love to help you take that first step toward healing, growth, and hope.
